I keep seeing the same problem with company websites:
they launch looking polished, but the moment the business changes, the site becomes a pain to manage.
- new product = needs dev help
- new campaign = needs a new page
- new messaging = site structure no longer fits
- small updates = internal team gets stuck
So I started thinking more about the stack decision itself.
A lot of teams jump into redesigning a website before asking whether the setup is actually right for their stage, team, and growth pace.
Because a website that works at go-live is not always a website that works 6 months later, I built a very simple tool to explore that idea:

It’s just a simple HTML/CSS/JS page that gives a recommendation based on things like company size, team structure, update frequency, and site complexity.
No tracking, no signup, no data collection. So, I’d genuinely love feedback from people here:
- does the logic feel useful?

- what would you improve or add?

That's not a brief, it's a mood board pretending to be a strategy.. We just shipped a Framer site for an AI company.
And we didn't open Framer for 3 weeks, just locked positioning, who's the buyer, what makes them stop scrolling, what objection hits first and what proof kills it.
Then we wrote the site before we designed it, because every section needs a job.
Built the whole thing in Framer in 10 days because the strategy was already done and there were no debates around copy, structure or style. just implementitaion.
Then 2 more days on the final layer with scroll animations, micro interactions, page transitions. That's what turns a good site into one people actually remember.
Fastest way to build a website is to not start with the website.
Love the colors 🎨
Your landing page looks amazing but nobody is booking a call.
Your design is beautiful, animations are smooth, typography is tight. But conversion rates are lower than you’d like them to be.
While the design is solid, when you dig deeper, you still can't tell what the business does or who it's for.
If visitors land on your website and can't figure out what you do within 3 seconds, they're going to bounce.
The fixes for this are usually simple:
1️⃣ Your headline needs to say what you do in plain language - not a clever tagline. Who you help, the problem you solve, and the outcome they get.
2️⃣ Your CTA needs to be obvious and appear above the fold. If someone has to scroll even once to contact you, you’re already losing them.
3️⃣ Social proof needs to show up early. A logo bar, star ratings, or strong testimonial above the fold tells visitors somebody has already trusted you.
Design captures people's attention, clarity gets them to take action.
A lot of business owners take pride in having a beautiful website, and they should. But I'd bet they'd trade some of that pride for more inbound leads.
If your website looks great but isn’t converting, the problem isn’t the design - it might be the messaging.

I’m currently working on a new website.
My work, knowledge, and vision have evolved a lot since I built the current one. Honestly, I think I disliked it about a month after launching… but it still did its job. It helped me share my work and build a business.
Now I’m moving into a more intentional direction, and I’m rethinking what actually deserves a place in my portfolio.
I know this isn’t always a clear or easy decision. So I’m sharing a few thoughts I’ve been using to evaluate my own work.

How do you decide what stays and what goes?
I feel this a lot.
For me, a project stops serving the portfolio when it no longer reflects how I think — not just how it looks.
Sometimes it can still be “good work,” but if it doesn’t represent your current depth or standards, it starts creating the wrong expectations.
