A workflow can look organized and still create operational chaos. When client information, project tasks, handoffs, and SOPs live in different places, the problem isn't usually the lack of another tool. The real problem is the workflow between them. When I design an operations system, I start by mapping: Business problem → Current workflow → Bottlenecks → Requirements → System → Automation → Documentation The goal isn't to build a prettier workspace. That’s the thinking behind StudioFlow — a self-initiated case study exploring client onboarding and project operations for a growing design studio. #BusinessOperations #WorkflowDesign #Notion #ProcessImprovement

Al-Mashawi — Restaurant Operations Management System Overview Al-Mashawi is a portfolio project demonstrating how a restaurant's operational information can be organized into one connected Notion system. The goal was to create a centralized workspace for managing recurring operational information while improving visibility across different areas of the business. Business Context A restaurant manages many interconnected areas at the same time — from menus and recipes to suppliers, schedules, team information, checklists, goals, and reporting. The system was designed to bring these areas together into a more structured operational workspace. System Areas The workspace includes: Operations Dashboard Menu Management Chef Directory Recipe Management Supplier Management Weekly Scheduling Customer Reviews Opening & Closing Checklists Monthly Goals Weekly P&L Reporting Team Directory Workspace Documentation Approach The system was structured around the relationship between operational information rather than treating each area as an isolated page. The goal was to create a practical operating hub where recurring information could be easier to access, maintain, and manage. Outcome The result is a centralized restaurant management workspace that connects day-to-day operational information into one organized system. Project Type Portfolio / Demonstration Project Created to demonstrate Business Operations, Workflow Design, Database Architecture, and Notion system-building capabilities.

StudioFlow — Architecture & Interior Design Operations System Overview StudioFlow is a portfolio project focused on designing a centralized operations system for a growing architecture and interior design studio. The system brings client onboarding, project setup, internal handoffs, tasks, documentation, and delivery readiness into one structured workspace. The Business Problem As a studio grows, client and project information can become scattered across different tools and processes. The goal was to create a clearer operational structure that would help the team: Standardize client onboarding Improve internal handoffs Organize project information Track active work and upcoming deadlines Make recurring processes easier to follow Create clearer visibility across operations Workflow New Client → Client Intake → Onboarding → Internal Handoff → Project Setup → Kickoff → Delivery Readiness → Project Delivery System Structure The workspace includes: Operations Dashboard Client Management Project Management Client Onboarding Task Management SOPs Automation Map Operational views and navigation Approach I approached the project from the business process first rather than starting with the tool. Business Problem → Requirements → Workflow → System Architecture → Documentation → Improvement Opportunities The result is a structured operating system designed around the studio's workflow rather than a generic workspace template. Project Type Portfolio / Demonstration Project Created to demonstrate Business Systems, Operations, Workflow Design, and Notion implementation capabilities.
