This semester, I’m leading a pilot in an introductory Anatomy & Physiology I course that emphasizes interactive studying over passive review. Many A&P students struggle not due to effort, but because traditional study methods do not align with the spatial nature of the material. This pilot integrates Visible Body as a core study tool, allowing students to explore 3D anatomical models, visualize system relationships, and connect structure with function. Activities are aligned with lecture, lab, and assessments to reinforce concepts across formats. The focus is active engagement through exploration and repeated interaction. While ongoing, this pilot reflects a shift toward student-centered, interactive study design in foundational science courses.
