Sometimes the things we enjoy aren't really about the thing itself. On the surface, Forza Horizon 6 is a racing game. But the more time I spent with it, the less interested I became in racing. Instead, I found myself exploring virtual versions of places I've wanted to visit for years, driving cars I've admired since childhood, and spending almost as much time taking photos as I did behind the wheel. I wrote a short piece about cars, Japan, nostalgia, and how games can sometimes become something more than entertainment.
