Happy to see the growth of a recent project I flipped last week. Zero backlinks. I only focused on semantic coverage and proper clustering. How do I achieve these types of rankings across many projects? Here is the simple truth. Try to build authority on the homepage. I do not create generic homepages for tool-based websites. I usually cover 2000 to 3000 words of content and fill it with relevant entities and keywords. I still personally believe that the H1 title tag and introduction can play an important role. Patience is necessary. If a project is not ranking wait for some time and then refine the content in a better way. How do I cover topics semantically? I do not create a large topical map. I only create relevant informational and commercial pages. This helps give the website a boost. Internal linking is very important.
