Vargánya Mushroom Lamp by Borz-Kováts Sándor // Paraphrase
This project is a reinterpretation study based on Sándor Kovács’ Vargánya lamp.
The aim was to explore the object’s sculptural character, proportions and visual rhythm through a contemporary 3D rendering approach.
Rather than redesigning the lamp completely, the project focuses on paraphrasing its iconic form and presenting it in a refined, minimal visual environment.

POCKET WINE
Premium Portable Wine Container
Pocket Wine is a portable wine container concept designed for situations where carrying a traditional bottle is impractical. The project reimagines wine packaging through a flattened form that improves portability while maintaining a premium visual language.
The project explores how a traditional wine bottle could be redesigned for mobility and outdoor use. The flattened silhouette improves portability while preserving familiar proportions and premium qualities associated with wine packaging.
Material & Identity
The visual identity combines minimal typography with premium material choices, including a matte black aluminium body and brushed aluminium cap.
Pocket Wine balances portability, simplicity and premium aesthetics in a contemporary reinterpretation of wine packaging.

MODRA
Modular Media Room Seating for Moovia
MODRA is a modular sofa concept designed for media rooms and contemporary living spaces. The project explores adaptable seating configurations that support both individual comfort and shared cinematic experiences.
Design Language
The form language explores the relationship between structured geometry and soft organic curves. Inspired by Bauhaus textile experimentation and mid-century furniture aesthetics, the seating system translates textile softness into sculptural upholstered form.
Modular System
MODRA consists of interchangeable seating modules that can function independently or be combined into larger configurations.
The system includes:
— lounge modules
— storage armrests
— integrated cup holders
— hidden compartments
— adaptable seating layouts
Form & Materiality
Soft upholstered surfaces and rounded transitions were designed to create an emotionally welcoming experience. The visual softness of textile-like geometry contrasts with the structural clarity of the wooden base, creating balance between comfort and stability.
Integrated Details
Functional elements are subtly embedded into the furniture to preserve visual simplicity. Wooden trays, soft ambient lighting and concealed storage create a seamless user experience while maintaining the sculptural quality of the object.

MOOD DIARY
Mood Diary is a guided publication created for people living with mood disorders through structured emotional tracking and reflective writing.
Designed to complement therapeutic practice, the system supports emotional awareness while also helping therapists and psychiatrists observe long-term emotional patterns.
The project was developed in consultation with psychiatrist and university lecturer Dr. Tibor Rudisch.
THE CHALLENGE
People living with mood disorders often experience rapidly shifting emotional states that can be difficult to recognise, communicate or track over time. Existing tracking methods may feel overwhelming, overly clinical or difficult to maintain consistently.
Mood Diary was designed to create a visually calm and structured system that supports emotional awareness while also complementing therapeutic and psychiatric practice through long-term mood observation.
Design Concept
The visual language was intentionally designed to reduce overstimulation through monochrome color use, generous white space and a minimal visual hierarchy.
The publication combines mood tracking, guided prompts and reflective writing to support emotional awareness in a structured yet gentle way. A low-sensory visual approach was chosen to avoid overwhelming users during emotionally difficult periods.
Illustration System
Abstract illustrations visualise emotional states associated with mood disorders, including depressive, manic and mixed episodes.
Rather than directly illustrating symptoms, the forms were designed to encourage emotional recognition while remaining open to interpretation.
Material & Print Logic
The publication was designed with replaceable inner pages and a low-complexity monochrome printing system. This approach supports both sustainability and long-term usability while maintaining a calm visual identity.
