Pokémon: The Awakening | Live-Action Concept Trailer What if one mistake changed the fate of the entire world? After years of peace between humans and Pokémon, powerful organizations slowly began using Pokémon for dangerous industrial work and other high-risk tasks, forgetting that they were partners—not tools. Their greed awakened Mewtwo, an unstoppable force capable of controlling Pokémon across the globe. Cities fall into chaos, armies collapse, and even the world's strongest Pokémon cannot stop him. As hope begins to disappear, one trainer refuses to give up. This fan-made concept trailer reimagines Pokémon as a grounded Hollywood-style live-action blockbuster with photorealistic visuals, cinematic storytelling, and AI-powered filmmaking. Trailer Breakdown Peaceful coexistence between humans and Pokémon Pokémon being used for dangerous industrial Mewtwo awakens Pokémon fall under Mewtwo's control Worldwide destruction Military and naval forces attempt to resist The other Pokémon challenge Mewtwo, but fail Ash becomes humanity's final hope How This Trailer Was Made This trailer was created using an AI-assisted filmmaking workflow. Image Generation: Every scene was first created as a photorealistic AI image. Animation: The images were animated using AI image-to-video with Renoise.ai to create natural cinematic motion. Editing: Every shot was assembled, paced and edited into a movie trailer. Voice-Over: Generated using ElevenLabs. The goal was to create a believable live-action Pokémon concept trailer while maintaining realistic visuals, consistent characters, and cinematic storytelling. Project Title: Paradise: A Cinematic UI/UX Booking Experience Description: As a UI/UX designer, I've always wished for a way to bridge the gap between static, lifeless wireframes and fully coded applications without needing an entire development team. I wanted a workflow that could instantly bring high-fidelity interfaces to life. For this challenge, I created 'Paradise,' a hyper-luxury beachfront hotel app for Goa. I didn't just want to generate static app screens; I wanted to build a complete product story. Using Melius, I orchestrated a workflow that took consistent AI-generated UI screens and animated the entire user flow—from the initial commercial hook to scrolling through luxury villas, and finally, the secure payment processing. It’s a vision of what the future of rapid, production-ready product design looks like. Melius allowed me to act as a product designer, motion graphics artist, and film director all on one infinite canvas Process Steps: UI Design & Consistency (Image Nodes): I started by generating the core app screens. I used the Melius AI agents to iterate through prompts until I had a highly consistent, high-fidelity UI for the home screen, villa selection, and secure payment portal. UI Animation (Video Nodes / Seedance 2.0): Static screens don't show user experience. I pushed the UI images into video nodes to animate the micro-interactions, scroll behaviors, and state changes to create a functional prototype feel. Commercial Storyboarding (Image Nodes): To give the app real-world context, I generated cinematic image assets for an ad campaign, featuring a tired couple on a couch looking for an escape. Motion & Compositing (Video Nodes): I animated the commercial images. The Final Polish: I took all the generated video assets and edited them into a final, cohesive commercial that seamlessly transitions from the real-world hook to the digital product flow. Feedback on Melius: Melius is easily the best, most intuitive way to work with AI right now—the node-based canvas completely changes the game for orchestrating complex pipelines. However, a major bottleneck for my project was the Seedance 2.0 node integration. While standalone Seedance 2.0 allows you to input up to 3 reference videos for precise motion and style control, the Melius Seedance 2.0 node currently restricts you to just one reference video. This limitation heavily impacted my workflow. Unlocking multiple reference video slots within the canvas nodes would make this tool an absolute powerhouse for advanced video workflows.
