Unfurl is a visual R&D project exploring the aesthetic intersection of organic botanical growth and fabric physics. Working with defined color palettes and using flowers and textiles as the main subjects, I built it entirely through a generative AI workflow - driven by curiosity and a genuine interest in understanding what these tools can do.

Following the initial thoughts of experimentation and discovery, Tom and I decided to continue our explorations within the realm of AI.
As usual, I used some of my previous 3D work to develop the database inside Krea. After several iterations, the images were upscaled in Topaz, refined in detail with Seedream, and finally passed through Kling 2.6 to breathe movement into them. The final touch of editing was completed in After Effects.
Tom brought the sound to life with his usual precision and sensibility, and the result feels amazing.

I embrace experimentation and the happy mistakes that come with it. While the control in this case feels merely residual, I’m beginning to understand the subtle details that allow me to steer the generative development exactly where I want it to go. It’s an interesting day-to-day relationship that requires time and dedication, just like everything else.

RAIZ unveils a tapestry of defying moments where tendrils curl through molten earth’s tender heart, blooming into visions that float like sighs of forgotten actions.
It emerges as a totem of forged truths, calling forth constellations of past actions and whispers of eternal reflection. Their translucent threads weave a dance through an abyss that defies gravity’s silent pull.
Cradled on stone altars sculpted by time’s gentle hand, kissed by a glow that sings of unseen melodies, with drifting fragments and the ghostly hum of rustling enigmas, this crucible blossoms into a realm where the soil’s veiled mysteries unfurl into boundless waltzes of transcendence roots.

This short piece comes to life from the desire for collaboration. Tom Parry (https://www.linkedin.com/in/tomparrymusic/) reached out with the idea of developing something together that would let us experiment, play, and discover - and I believe we managed exactly that.
I began by building the scene in Cinema 4D, then sent it to Krea, where it was blended with a database of abstract 3D renders. After several iterations, the image was upscaled in Topaz, refined in detail with Nano Banana, and finally passed through Kling 2.5 to breathe movement into it. The final touch of "editing" was done inside After Effects.

Medium: AI-generated image
Concept Description:

These images are part of a set of tests where I am exploring ways to blend my work with AI. It began with a question: How can I use this new technology without being influenced by or "borrowing" from the work of other professionals and artists? How can I make this truly "mine"?
The process started with Cinema4D and Redshift, where I created numerous abstract images rich in color and detailed textures. After developing these in 3D, I used Kohya for LoRA training. However, I felt I could achieve greater control by creating my own model in ComfyUI. It was during this exploration that I discovered Flux training through krea_ai. The results were extraordinary, and its incredible Upscale feature became a valuable tool for further experimentation.

Thanks to the variety of LoRAs I developed in Kohya and integrated with ComfyUI, I now have an extensive database of mixed images.

This process enables me to generate infinite variations, suitable for various purposes.
