🚀 High-Retention Tech Edit: Mark Zuckerberg on the Future of AI
In this project, I took a raw interview segment of Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg discussing the future of AI and repurposed it into a premium, high-retention vertical clip. The goal was to optimize the tech-heavy dialogue for fast-paced social media platforms.
My Editorial Strategy & Execution:
Kinetic Subtitles & Typography: Designed custom, highly-readable animated subtitles in Adobe After Effects with color coding to emphasize critical technical terms.
Immersive Soundscape: Layered deep atmospheric risers, high-impact whooshes, and mechanical typing sound effects (SFX) synchronized perfectly with the text pop-ups to boost sensory engagement.
Pacing & Hook: Engineered a tight narrative structure by cutting out dead air and filler words, keeping the viewer hooked from the first 3 seconds.
Visual Enhancements: Integrated seamless zoom-ins, reframing, and subtle overlays to maintain a continuous visual rhythm throughout the explanation.

🧠High-Retention Faceless Edit: AI Facts & Future
In this project, I repurposed a raw podcast segment discussing mind-blowing AI facts and transformed it into a highly engaging, fast-paced vertical video. The objective was to maintain a 100% viewer retention rate through cinematic visuals and precise pacing.
My Strategic Approach & Execution:
Visual Pacing: Created a seamless flow using contextual AI B-rolls, premium stock footage, and fast cuts to eliminate any drop-offs.
Kinetic Typography: Designed custom, high-impact subtitles in Adobe After Effects to keep the viewer visually hooked to the script.
Advanced Sound Design: Implemented an immersive soundscape including sub-bass drops, ambient risers, and mechanical typing SFX to emphasize key facts.
Color Grading & Textures: Applied subtle filmic grain and color grading to give the overall video a premium, high-fidelity documentary vibe.

In this project, I took a raw, unedited podcast segment discussing the downsides of AI and completely re-imagined it using a high-retention editing style. The goal was to turn a flat talking-head video into an engaging visual story.
What I Did (The Transformation):
The Hook: Re-engineered the first 3 seconds with aggressive pacing to instantly grab the viewer's attention.
Visual Storytelling: Designed custom motion graphics and kinetic typography in Adobe After Effects to highlight the dark side of AI visually.
Sound Design: Layered deep atmospheric risers, mechanical typing SFX for subtitles, and dramatic whooshes to build tension around the topic.
Pacing: Eliminated dead air and cut the video dynamically to maintain maximum retention throughout the clip.
