For my #base44giveitaglowchallenge submission, I chose to elevate a real local business: Porta, a cafe with massive floor space, an extensive menu, and an incredible physical interior that their online presence just wasn't matching. I didn’t just want to build a pretty landing page—I wanted to build a working digital system that actually helps them run the cafe. Using @Base44, I gave them a complete digital glow-up: ✨ The Vibe: An elegant, mobile-responsive frontend featuring high-end typography and a custom color palette pulled directly from their physical space to keep the branding seamless. ⚙️ The Engine: I built out working automations, including a live table reservation system, seamless online ordering with drink customization, and a digital loyalty program. 📊 The Backend: To make this a true operational tool, I created a custom internal order dashboard so the baristas can manage live tickets effortlessly during a rush. The Grandfather I Never Knew You get invited to the house of your grandfather, a man you never knew. The only thing you know is that they had a falling out with your dad. You don't really know why or when it happened. You decide to go and the conversation and plot devolve from there. Give him gifts, question him on his absence, flatter, cajole or tell him just how miserable he's made you. The choice is yours! The character is fully animated in Rive to react to user input. Second Submission: Since the deadline got pushed by a lot I had time to play around with my concept and refine it. It's changed shape completely. Meet the Baron, the one man who controls the entire government. How can you run a public company under this administration? Do you kiss the ring and give him all he wants? Won't he just want more? Can you keep neutral and be ignored? Is that a strategy that only leads to mediocrity? Will you try to fight? Can't he weaponize the power of the government to ruin you? The design is inspired by early Macintosh, an era of computing I deeply love. The baron has a full 3D model, it's a full choose your own adventure game and you can explore approaches.
