Enthusiasts and everyday users care about the travel of the keys, the type of mechanical switch, the texture of the keycaps, and the rigidity of the chassis. The problem? A standard 2D photo just looks like a flat board of plastic. Flat imagery creates a "Visual IQ" gap where the customer cannot see or comprehend the premium engineering inside the board. The Solution: I created this 3D product animation to visualize the physical typing experience. Because you can't "feel" the keyboard through a screen, I used 3D animation to visually explain it. By animating the satisfying depression of the mechanical switches, using macro-camera shots to highlight the premium texture of the keycaps, and dynamically sweeping the RGB lighting across the board, the animation translates technical specs into a visceral experience. This approach solves the marketing problem by showing the customer exactly why this keyboard feels better than the rest.
