Stray Hymns is an ongoing personal project about wandering creatures, roadside blues, old places and the stories found along the way. These two illustrations, featuring a pair of traveling opossums, are part of the project, which brings together character concepts, illustration, music and animation. Samurai vs Oni.
This illustration was developed some time ago for the concept of a game that is still in development by a Brazilian game studio. I really enjoy this mix of scenes, glowing lights, fire and creatures. I always have a lot of fun creating this kind of artwork.
