I like the theory that the first artists were shamans.
Before language hardened into syntax and rules, maybe humans gathered like this—
in small circles beneath impossible mushrooms,
moving together for no reason other than beauty, harmony, and joy.
A midsummer ritual from an imaginary past.
Or maybe just a reminder that, in spite of our efforts to the contrary, we’re still part of nature’s choreography.

Using Adobe Fresco and Adobe After Effects, I brought my drawings to life, creating a captivating announcement for the opening of Edith's Mercería - a special showroom for handmade children's clothing crafted with Ecuadorian flair.

My first post here on Contra.
I’m intrigued by this platform's spirit, seemingly attracting those who genuinely care about making things: designers, illustrators, developers, independent creators. A refreshing alternative to more sterile professional networks. It reminds me a little of the old Mac vs. PC ads with Justin Long. Personality vs. uniformity.
I drew this animation (about a year ago) frame by frame on my iPad Pro using Adobe Fresco, inspired by the playful intro of Clarissa Explains It All. A simple line figure interacts with the letters of my name until everything resolves into a signature.
For the music I searched Epidemic Sound for something close to “Whistle Stop” by Roger Miller from The Jungle Book, a vinyl I played endlessly as a child.
