I love both taking and looking at photographs.
While it’s now possible to generate images using AI, photographs captured by the human eye are truly special, and I believe their value will never fade, no matter how much time passes.
If the photograph itself is powerful, the layout and design will naturally emerge from it.
Working with photographers I admire can be nerve-wracking at times, but the results are always meaningful and rewarding.

This minimalist logo design for a resort hotel is centered on the themes of tranquility and refined simplicity. Through typography, an understated color palette, and balanced composition, it expresses a calm and sophisticated atmosphere.
Originally created over 10 years ago, the logo is now presented as a mockup.

Creating mockups is incredibly enjoyable for me.
However, in the Japanese design industry, the presentation side of design—how the work is shown—still isn’t treated seriously as part of the process.
Mockups in Japan are often seen less as an essential design element and more as a small add-on for client presentations.
This is likely why high-quality mockup templates are rarely seen in Japan.
I often photograph real environments and composite my designs into them,
because I believe a design can only be evaluated objectively when viewed in its final form.
(They aren’t always perfectly refined, but I still show them to clients when needed.)
In many international design cultures,
presentation itself is considered part of the design.
