AI is changing the role of a designerand honestly, I think we are in the age of ideas because of AI. I beleive AI isn't replaces creativity, but it making it possible to take an idea from your head to something real much faster than ever before. A few years ago, creating a project like this could have meant bringing together an illustrator, animator, 3D artist, photographer, developer, and several other specialists. Today, AI gives designers the ability to explore many of those directions themselves. We experienced this firsthand while working on a laundry ordering system for Celsius Cleaning, Romania. The existing WordPress experience was difficult to use, and ordering laundry online felt unnecessarily complicated. So we redesigned the experience around a much simpler flow: → Select your garments → Choose the service → Build your order → Book a pickup See full case study https://lnkd.in/dbMkW4Kg (https://lnkd.in/dbMkW4Kg)We also worked on the development of the custom WordPress plugin behind the experience. But what made this project especially fun was the visual direction. We used AI and a mixed-media style to introduce a playful character into the experience turning something as ordinary as laundry into something more lively, human, and memorable. And this is what excites me most about AI. It gives you more room to experiment. More directions to explore and more things you can actually bring to life. AI is expanding what a designer can imagine and create. Welcome to the age of idea guys. How are you using ai?

One of my favourite parts of this website redesign. The Bento grid. But the interesting part isn't the final design. It's what happened before it. Instead of jumping straight into UI, I opened Figma's pencil tool and sketched every block first. Not to make it look good. To figure out what each section should communicate. That's usually the hardest part. Once the structure was clear, designing became much faster because every card already had a purpose. After that, I brought the layout to life with subtle animations, giving it a modern, tech-focused feel that made the entire section feel much more interactive. The client loved the final result, and honestly, this is why I enjoy UI/UX design so much: solving the thinking before solving the visuals. BTW How do you approach a new design? Do you sketch first, wireframe, or jump straight into high-fidelity?
