grief doesn't leave.
it just becomes something you know how to hold.
i made this film because i know what it feels like to carry something heavy and not know if you're allowed to put it down.
we spend so much time in the grief. more than we spend anywhere else. and for a long time i thought that meant something was wrong with me.
it didn't.
everything passes. not perfectly, not all at once. but it does. and grief? it stays. quietly, in the background, in the face of a stranger, in an ordinary tuesday.
and that's okay.
because grief is just proof that you loved someone. that they were real. that it mattered. so if you're carrying something right now, know that grief won't be the only thing you feel. there will also be joy. love. hope. faith. courage. happiness.
and feeling all of those things doesn't mean you're letting them go.
it just means you're still here.
still living.
still loving.
after all, grief is the price we pay for love.
so feel it.
all of it.

My submission for Klout x ASEAN campaign.
I wanted to make something that actually looks like Southeast Asia feels, not the highlight reel version, not the drone footage over infinity pools. Just the real thing. 11 countries and the contrast is where the feeling lives.
