I built a website about a bird. It won four awards 🎉
The Bali starling is a symbol of Bali, the island I’ve been living on for the past few years. At one point, it was on the brink of extinction. But on one of the neighboring islands, local communities decided to save it, and they succeeded.
I wanted to tell this story through a website. And use the project to experiment with a new tool for me: Claude Code.
Today, the website received a Special Kudos on CSS Design Awards, along with Best UI, Best UX, and Best Innovation.
It’s great to see the experiment pay off.
