A cinematic 2D animated music video created for Black Stone of Mecca for Jackpot Scotty Wotty feat. U-God – “Last Known Address,” produced by Shaka Amazulu The 7th and directed by me.
I developed the animation around a Marvel-inspired comic-book aesthetic, combining stylized character design, cinematic urban environments, dramatic lighting and expressive close-ups. The project was built shot by shot with a strong focus on visual storytelling, character consistency, atmosphere and cinematic pacing, creating a narrative-driven world that complements the raw hip-hop sound of the track.
The characters and environments were designed to maintain a cohesive high-end 2D visual identity throughout the film, blending modern comic-book influences with cinematic animation.

I developed the visual direction around a dark, mature samurai-inspired anime aesthetic, combining expressive character design, hand-drawn-inspired environments, dramatic lighting and cinematic compositions. The characters were designed from real artist references and adapted into a consistent 2D anime world while preserving their recognizable features.
The project was built shot by shot with a strong focus on character consistency, atmosphere, storytelling, camera direction and cinematic pacing, bringing together underground hip-hop and classic martial-arts-inspired visual storytelling.

A cinematic AI music video created for Black Stone of Mecca for Black Knights of the Northstar – “Where The Sun Rises In The West.”
I served as Creative Director, developing the visual direction and building the project shot by shot around a dark, atmospheric desert world. All characters were designed in an ultra-realistic style based on real reference photos of the artists, while maintaining their recognizable features and adapting them to the cinematic universe of the video.
The project blends realistic characters, ancient symbolism, dramatic cinematography and sci-fi elements, with a strong focus on storytelling, world-building and a high-end live-action cinematic feel.
