When everything is perfectly aligned, symmetrical, predictable, or repetitive, your brain quickly understands the pattern. Once the pattern is understood, it becomes less interesting.
Sometimes, create crazy designs without thinking about alignment, only one or two fonts max in the design, 10:30:60 rule, etc.
