Availability & Communication

Core hours: Monday through Friday, 10:30am–4:30pm ET.
Primary channel: Contra messages or Slack.
Non-urgent messages received outside core hours are addressed first thing the next business day. Your work doesn't lose its place in the queue.
After-hours emergency escalation: For genuine emergencies (production down, launch-critical blocker, data issue), prefix your message with "URGENT:" and I'll respond within 4 hours. Emergency hours are billed at $175/hr.
What qualifies as an emergency: something that is actively costing you money, users, or data right now.
