Brand Discovery Workshop
Notice: This might sound boring in writing, but I assure you I've tried to make the whole process as painless and fun as possible! What could be more fun than thinking about your business in a collection of both creative and critical ways :) Probably snowboarding. We will go through my custom, facilitated discovery process to uncover actionable insights that are used to develop brand strategy going forward. This exists in the form of a 3+3 hour online workshop divided over a couple days (may last longer), for which preferably most of the decision-makers in your business will be present. It's good to include people from every area of the business so we can align the entire business to a common goal. This part of the process not only supports how the rest of the identity is created, but in the end provides you with a clear direction you can look to for guidance when making any decisions within your business.

This is a rough set of deliverables for Brand Strategy, final deliverables largely depend upon the insights uncovered during the discovery session. The point of this whole process is to give you insight and clarity in the first place, and so I can help you see what you weren't seeing. For that reason we will focus on what you need, and if I identify that you NEED something else, we will do it. + Strategize and define Brand Positioning + SWOT Analysis + User/Customer/Audience analysis; + Competitive analysis; + Define Brand Personality; + Strategize and define differentiation in your target market; + Conceptualize Brand Storytelling; + Define Brand ToV; + Define your ideal customer and how to best communicate to them; + Brand Mission Statement/Brand Purpose + Align long-term Brand Vision + Identify and develop set of Brand Values + Conceptualize and execute Tagline/Slogan (visual deliverable) + Define Core Value Proposition + Define Sustainable competitive advantage + Company culture outline + more.

The brand strategy development process starts after the 2 day workshop, and lasts ~3 weeks depending on needs. over the next 3 weeks all of the brand strategy deliverables will be strategized and created, then we'll schedule one more meeting for you to review everything. After that, we will get to creating a Brand Strategy Guidelines document, which will outline everything we've analyzed, defined, and created during this process. This document will be your brand 'Bible'. Every decision that affects both internal and external brand touchpoints in the future should be cross referenced with this document. This document will keep you on track. This document is not an end-all-be-all , because brands are living, breathing creatures if you let them be so, so this document can be adapted over time to fit new needs. This document will be useful for every new employee you have, and this document can be used by a designer/design team to design adequate visuals that are aligned with your brand.
