The purpose of branding is to get more people to buy more things at a higher price for a longer period of time, and have all of that happen naturally, organically, because they want to. A fully developed brand identity will not only help rapid growth at the early stages of your business, but will stay relevant for many years, or even forever. Brand should adapt over time, but brand should also be timeless. I will walk you through every step of the process and make sure this is as painless and streamlined of a commitment to you as possible, but it is an important commitment. Brand Discovery Workshop
Notice: This might sound boring in writing, but I assure you I've tried to make the whole process as painless and fun as possible! What could be more fun than thinking about your business in a collection of both creative and critical ways :) Probably snowboarding. We will go through my custom, facilitated discovery process to uncover actionable insights that are used to develop brand strategy going forward. This exists in the form of a 3+3 hour online workshop divided over a couple days (may last longer), for which preferably most of the decision-makers in your business will be present. It's good to include people from every area of the business so we can align the entire business to a common goal. This part of the process not only supports how the rest of the identity is created, but in the end provides you with a clear direction you can look to for guidance when making any decisions within your business.
Brand Strategy
This is a rough set of deliverables for Brand Strategy, final deliverables largely depend upon the insights uncovered during the discovery session. The point of this whole process is to give you insight and clarity in the first place, and so I can help you see what you weren't seeing. For that reason we will focus on what you need, and if I identify that you NEED something else, we will do it. + Strategize and define Brand Positioning + SWOT Analysis + User/Customer/Audience analysis; + Competitive analysis; + Define Brand Personality; + Strategize and define differentiation in your target market; + Conceptualize Brand Storytelling; + Define Brand ToV; + Define your ideal customer and how to best communicate to them; + Brand Mission Statement/Brand Purpose + Align long-term Brand Vision + Identify and develop set of Brand Values + Conceptualize and execute Tagline/Slogan (visual deliverable) + Define Core Value Proposition + Define Sustainable competitive advantage + more.
Logo
Through an iterative design process based on goal and insight exploration we will develop a timeless wordmark or pictogram logo. We will go through a concept stage, iteration stage and finalization stage. The final product should be iconic, aligned with your mission and stay competitive in your market for many years or even decades. You will receive the logo in 5 main file formats - additional formats available upon request!
Typography
Typography should be aligned to your brand tone and messaging, as well as most common use-cases. I will create a typography system that will be complementary to the rest of the identity, that will communicate a point to your customers, and that you can easily use to create marketing materials or further design work. I can create free or paid typography systems alike. The created typography system will be outlined in the brand guidelines book.
Color Theory
Color doesn't have inherent meaning, we give the color meaning through a holistic visual communication system. Red might mean one thing on one side of the planet, and a completely different thing on the other side of the planet. I will go through my facilitated color exploration framework that will define the best color pallete possible for your industry and desired market positioning. The created color system will be outlined in the brand guidelines book.

Full Brand Guidelines Book
The brand guidelines are your brand 'Bible'. They outline, explain, present, and provide all of the deliverables, assets, concepts, goals and strategies we will develop during this process. These are documents that can be 100 pages long. They also provide a framework for creating further assets such as websites and stationery so they all match the brand. This allows you the option of hiring another designer down the line to create new materials while still remaining on-brand.
