A unique brand identity is one of the most valuable assets a business can own—and it will likely only appreciate in value over time. The simple and iconic Nike swoosh was designed for a mere $35 in 1971 and is valued today at over $26 billion for the logo trademark alone. 

A brand is not a logo—nor any other visual asset—but your visual identity is a symbol of your brand’s equity and value. Your identity is a vessel for all the countless associations that people have with your services, products, and offerings, and the sky is its limit. The value of a genuinely distinctive and recognizable brand is an investment in future growth and a reduction of risk—the risk of being generic and easily forgotten.





What's included

  • Discovery & Research

    To kick off the project, we’ll begin with a comprehensive discovery phase to gather as much information as we can about your brand story, goals, mission, vision, target audiences, competitors, and anything and everything that makes Adrienne Kane Studio unique. This will help me understand your specific needs and goals and inform the direction of your new brand identity. Activities for this step include a brand questionnaire and discovery session, followed by a review of existing materials, audience profiles, competitor insights, and any research data. During this phase, we will also outline and agree upon a detailed timeline and work plan for the project.

  • Mood Board Process

    Here I will present my findings from the discovery process and also provide an analysis of 3 competitors from a brand identity perspective. Additionally, I will create 2-3 mood board directions of look and feel elements that will inspire the visual tone of your new identity. This collaborative step will help guide the entire design process and will ensure alignment on the direction of the new branding. This process includes the delivery of all the discovery and mood board documents throughout.

  • Logo Design

    The logo design phase starts with the creation of a vast number of creative sketches, ideas, and explorations to uncover as many potential logo options as possible. I then work through an internal process of curating, vetting, and refining the options until I land on 3-5 distinct and viable logo treatments to present. Following the initial presentation, we will work through revisions, ensuring your new logo accurately reflects your unique brand and vision. Deliverables here include all the logo presentation documents and the final logo files and exports will be delivered at the completion of the full branding project

  • Brand Identity System

    Once the logo direction is approved, I will create and present all the remaining visual elements needed to view the full identity system as a whole, before formalizing everything into the style guide. This deliverable includes a presentation of the entire brand system, including logo formats, brand colors, photo style, typography, and other secondary design elements and accents.

  • Brand Guidelines

    The final step of the branding process is defining and formalizing all the guidelines and specifications needed to successfully implement and manage your new brand identity. These guidelines will provide clear instructions for anyone to follow when creating marketing materials, ensuring that your brand is consistently represented across all channels. The brand guidelines will include specific guidelines for logo usage, color values, typography, and any other secondary design elements.

  • File Handoff

    Once all the assets have been approved, I will finalize and deliver all the files and instructions you’ll need to implement the new branding. These files will include the native source files (such as Illustrator and InDesign) and production-ready exports (such as PDF, PNG, etc). • Logo files in various formats, sizes, and colors • Brand Guidelines • Secondary design elements such as icons and patterns • Any stock photos and assets • Links to fonts • Adobe CC Library (if needed)
