Summary

Is this your first time needing to hire a CIO or CTO and you're not sure what you need to ask for, or how to vet the candidate? My service is here to assist you in the selection process to help find candidates who have the qualifications and expertise you're looking to bring on board.

Process

The steps are straightforward and work alongside your existing hiring process. If you don't have an existing hiring process, no worries, I can work with that as well.
1) Review the business goals, tech stack, needs which are driving the decision, as well as the company culture, to understand the landscape.
2) Work with you to develop or refine a job description for the position.
3) Provide a review of candidates to find the ones who seem like the best fit.
4) Participate in the interview process of the candidates to further vet potential CIOs or CTOs.
5) Participate in internal discussions regarding the candidates to weigh in on potential fit for the business.

What's included

  • Review of business goals and needs

    I will review your business goals and needs, as well as get an understanding of your corporate culture, along with a job description (if one exists, if it doesn't I will help work with you to draft an appropriate job description for the role), to help you have the best field of candidates coming who most closely fit the needs of the business.

  • Review of curated list of candidates

    After the internal HR team has done a preliminary review of potential candidates that seem to fit the job description, I will work with the team to further review the curated list of candidates to find the strongest ones who would be the best fit and worth pursuing to a first interview.

  • Assist in the interview and selection process

    I will assist the team in the interview process, by participating in the process on behalf of the company, to help vet the candidate's qualifications through a direct conversation with the candidate, either as part of a group setting or one-on-one (depending on the process the company follows) and provide written feedback and a score related to their proficiencies needed for the position. I will do this for up to two rounds of interviews per candidate, for a maximum of 15 candidates (additional candidates or interview rounds for an additional fee). Will participate in any internal sessions discussing candidates to provide feedback based on my experience, for the candidates being discussed.
