Have you ever tried to tell an interview panel about your skills and abilities as it applies to the job you've applied for without talking about your past? Not easy to do. It's a learned skill and it takes practice to speak specifically within guidelines that define what you can do for a company based on your skills, knowledge, and experience and stay focused on the company and the job for which you're interviewing.

Did you know that the skills you bring to a job position aren't always from a job? I find that people have information hibernating within that they don't remember, don't value, or don't think it applies simply because they never did it in a work environment.

When we work together you may be surprised to see how much more you bring to the job than you think. My clients tell me they had no idea that "this information" could be integrated into transferable skills and defined as added value to their credit. If you work in corporate, non-profit, or private sector or if you are a portfolio manager, work in a matrix, in operations, department head, general manager or the like, this type of interview preparation is for you. If you are in a particular sector you may have a specific type of interview and we will discuss that prior to beginning our work together.

It's my suggestion that this type of training should be specific to an employment position you want in order for you to really apply it to something that feels tangible. Afterward, you can use the methodology for any job interview in the future.

Note: It's important that you are in an environment that is private and quiet so you can focus. We will focus on questions that are generally asked in an interview as well as the specific questions for the job for which you're interviewing. I will need from you your resume, the job description, and the company name to present to you exactly what will apply to you in the upcoming interview. The mock interview will take place at a later date so that you will have time to practice the various components you for which you are being coached. This is a very effective way to develop your persona and your self-presentation; conveying real confidence in what you say and how you say it.
