When someone asks you "Can you tell us about yourself?" What do you say?

In a job interview - there are different guidelines than for a college student interviewing for admissions. However, where they liken to one another is that having a strong personal statement sets the stage for more of what is to come. It demonstrates that you know who you are, how outstanding you are, and you know how to share information about yourself with tonal quality and a vocal delivery pleasing to the listener.

When you enter into a job interview there is a 100% chance of a job offer. It is evaluated differently than you probably imagine. It's like this: Out of 100% - 50% is the likeability factor, 30% is if they think you want the job - 20% is if they think they can work with you. The 50% of the likeability factor breaks down like this: 40% is your voice, 5% is image and 5% is demeanor. Think about it - 40% of the opportunity to get a job offer is about your speaking voice. Of course what you say is important, but more importantly - how you say it.

Note: Your speaking voice is a part of this service and will take practice on your part to deliver according to the framework within the coaching session. It will be important for you to find an environment that is private and quiet as you will be speaking each part of the statement and then bringing into focus each component of the statement areas of specialty where you want to charge the attention of the interviewer.
