Process

Discovery & Research: We begin with a kickoff session to define your goals, target audience, features, and the overall vision for the web app. This phase also includes a competitive analysis to understand industry trends and identify opportunities for differentiation. We then develop a design strategy to guide the direction of the project, ensuring it aligns with your business objectives and user needs.
User Flows & Wireframing: In this stage, I map out key user flows and create low-fidelity wireframes to map out the structure of the app. This helps define the app’s functionality and ensures that the user journey is intuitive and seamless.
UI Design & Prototyping: Once the wireframes are in place, I design high-fidelity UI mockups for each screen, paying attention to typography, colours, and UI components. I ensure that the design is responsive, adapting well across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Usability Testing & Iteration: When applicable, I conduct usability testing to gather feedback from real users. This helps us identify pain points or areas for improvement in the design. By refining the design based on this feedback, we ensure that the user experience is as smooth and intuitive as possible.
Final Design Handoff: Once the design is finalized, I prepare for the final handoff by providing the development team with all necessary design specifications, assets, and style guides.

    The design process typically takes 3–4 weeks depending on the complexity of the web app and feedback cycles.

    My rates depend on the complexity of the project, but they generally start at $2,500 for simpler apps and can go up from there for more complex designs.

    While a detailed brief isn’t required upfront, having a clear idea of your goals and target audience is helpful. I will work with you through the discovery phase to fully understand your project and refine the brief before diving into design.

  • What happens after the designs are handed off?

    I provide your development team with all the necessary files and assets. If needed, I’m available for further consultation during the development phase.

  • Can I request revisions during the design process?

    Yes! I include 1-2 rounds of revisions after each design stage (wireframes and UI design) to ensure everything aligns with your vision.
