Process

1. Client Discovery and Briefing
Initial Meeting: We meet to discuss the project’s objectives, target audience, budget, and timeline.
Gather Information (if applicable): Collect existing branding materials (e.g., logos, colour palettes) and any specific requirements or preferences.
Define Scope of Work: I clarify the deliverables, including the type of print materials needed (e.g., brochures, business cards, posters).
2. Research and Concept Development
Market Research: I analyse industry trends, competitors, and successful print campaigns to inform design direction.
Brainstorming: I generate initial ideas and concepts, including themes, layouts, and visual styles.
3. Mood Board and Style Guide
Create Mood Boards: I assemble visual inspiration, including colours, typography, imagery, and styles that align with the required project.
Develop Style Guide: I draft a preliminary style guide that outlines design elements, including font choices and colour schemes.
4. Initial Design and Prototyping
Digital Drafts: I create initial digital mockups using design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or Photoshop).
Presentation of Concepts: I share a few design concepts with you for feedback, explaining the rationale behind the design.
5. Feedback and Revisions
Collect Client Feedback: We discuss which elements you liked or disliked and gather suggestions for improvements.
Revise Designs: I make necessary changes based on client feedback, adjusting layouts, colours, typography, and imagery as needed.
6. Finalizing the Design

7. Preparing for Print
Export Files: I prepare print-ready files in the appropriate formats (typically PDF), ensuring bleed, crop marks, and colour settings are correct.
Create Variations: If applicable, create different versions of the design (e.g., sizes, orientations, colour variations).
Prepare Special Files: I create separate files or notes for any special printing processes, such as embossing, die-cutting, or foil stamping (if applicable).
8. Client Approval
Present Final Designs: I share the final print-ready designs with for your final approval.
Address Any Last-Minute Changes: We make any final adjustments if requested.
9. File Delivery and Handoff
Organise Files: I compile all final files, including source files, and organise them in a structured manner for easy access.

Deliver Files: I send the final files to you via a preferred method (e.g., email, cloud storage, wetransfer).
