Strategy-first brand identity for fashion, jewelry, beauty and skincare founders.
Most new brands start with a logo and hope the rest falls into place. I start with strategy. We work out who you’re speaking to, what makes you different, and how people should feel when they meet your brand. Then I build the identity to carry it. The process follows my 4D Framework (Discovery, Direction, Design, Delivery) and runs through a dedicated client portal, so you always know what’s next.

What’s included

Client Portal, Questionnaire & Brand Discovery Session Every project starts in a dedicated client portal. It holds your questionnaire, files, timelines, feedback and final deliverables in one organized place, so nothing gets lost in scattered emails or messages. You begin by completing a detailed brand questionnaire covering your vision, audience, product, competitors and the feeling you want your brand to create. We then meet for a one-on-one discovery session to go deeper into what the form can’t capture: your story, your goals, what you love, what you don’t, and where you want the brand to go. This is the Discovery stage of my 4D Framework, and everything that follows is built on it.
Brand Strategy Document This is the document that makes the design decisions defensible. It turns what we learn in discovery into a clear strategic direction: who your ideal customer is, what makes you different from competitors in your category, your brand positioning, your personality and tone of voice, and the core message you want people to remember. Every design choice afterward traces back to this document, so the identity is based on a reason and not on taste. It also gives you a reference for your content, your website and your future hires.
2 Moodboards Before I design anything, I present two distinct visual directions as moodboards. Each explores a different take on your brand’s look and feel, including color mood, typography style, texture, imagery and overall atmosphere. You choose the direction that feels most like your brand, or tell me what to combine from both. This stage means we agree on the visual world before I invest in logo design, which avoids long rounds of guesswork later.
Logo Variations & Logo System You receive a primary logo plus the variations a real brand needs: for example horizontal and stacked layouts, a simplified icon or monogram for small spaces like social profile pictures, and versions for light and dark backgrounds. Together these form a logo system, meaning each version has a defined use so your brand looks consistent whether it’s on packaging, a website, a hang tag or an Instagram profile. Files are delivered in the formats you’ll need for both print and digital. [3 initial concepts, 2 revision rounds, and SVG, JPG, PNG, AI FILE delivered|
Typography & Color Selection I choose the typefaces and color palette that bring your strategy to life. For typography, that means a considered set of fonts for headlines, body text and supporting details, chosen to match your brand’s personality and to stay legible across print and screen. For color, you receive a primary palette and supporting colors with exact values for digital and print (HEX, RGB and CMYK). In fashion, jewelry, beauty and skincare, color and type do much of the work in how premium and trustworthy a brand feels, so I treat this as strategy, not decoration.
Brand Presentation You receive a polished presentation walking you through the final identity and the reasoning behind it: the strategy, the direction we chose, the logo system, the color and type, and how it all fits together. It’s designed so you can understand the brand, explain it to your team, and show it with confidence to partners, manufacturers or investors.
Brand Guidelines The brand guidelines document is the rulebook for your identity. It covers how to use the logo (clear space, minimum sizes, and what not to do), the color palette with values, typography and hierarchy, and how the brand should look and sound in practice. With it, you, your team, or any future designer, printer or agency can apply your brand consistently without calling me every time. It protects the work after the project ends.
