Process

Kickoff
I start with an initial consultation to understand your business goals, product details, user personas, target scenarios, tasks, product complexity, constraints, and timeline. We'll define the scope of work and the approach for the review, including the types of research to be conducted and access to necessary tools, analytics, recordings, and previous research. We’ll also establish communication expectations and turnaround times for any requests or questions.
Discovery and Research
I review and analyze any client-supplied materials, such as analytics, to understand user flows, usage patterns, and problems. I conduct virtual user interviews or surveys to verify their experiences and identify issues. An expert review of the product is conducted against established usability heuristics to identify usability issues and create prioritized recommendations.
Delivery Report
I present the project's findings and insights in a comprehensive report during a virtual meeting. This allows for discussion of the findings, questions, proposed recommendations, and plans for product improvement.
Follow-Up
I am available for follow-up support to assist with implementation or post-implementation assessments to measure the impact of changes on the user experience.
