FAQs
What types of websites are a good fit for this service?
This service works best for marketing websites, portfolio sites, and small business or consultant sites that need clear structure, strong visuals, and a thoughtful user experience. If you’re looking for a clean, modern site that communicates your value clearly, this is a great fit.
Do you only design, or do you also build the site?
I handle both the design and the build. The website is designed with UX and visual clarity in mind, then built directly in Framer so it’s responsive, editable, and ready to launch.
How many pages are included?
Most projects include 3–5 core pages (such as Home, About, Services, and Contact). Additional pages or complexity can be added as needed and scoped during the kickoff.
Can I update the site myself after launch?
Yes. Framer makes it easy to edit content, images, and sections without needing a developer. I’ll structure the site so it’s straightforward to manage and can provide light guidance if needed.
What if I need features Framer doesn’t support?
If your project requires advanced functionality (complex CMS setups, custom integrations, or heavy animations), we’ll discuss this upfront. In some cases, Framer is still a great fit; in others, I’ll recommend an alternative approach.

About this service
I help teams design clear, usable, and thoughtfully crafted digital products—from early concepts to polished UI ready for development. Whether you’re refining an existing product or designing something new, I bring a UX-first mindset grounded in real-world constraints, collaboration, and business goals. My focus is on clarity, usability, and design decisions that support both users and stakeholders. This service is ideal for startups, small teams, and organizations that need a senior designer who can think strategically, communicate clearly, and deliver high-quality design work without excessive overhead.
Discovery & kickoff
We’ll start with a kickoff session to align on goals, users, constraints, and priorities. This can be a live call or an async brief—whatever works best for your team.
UX & interface design
I design user flows, layouts, and UI screens based on your requirements, focusing on usability, hierarchy, and visual clarity. Designs are created in Figma and organized for easy iteration and handoff.
Iteration & collaboration
You’ll have a dedicated space to review work, provide feedback, and track progress. I work in focused design sprints (often 1–2 weeks) to keep momentum while allowing room for refinement.
Handoff & ownership
At the end of the engagement, you’ll receive full access to the design files with clean structure and reusable components—ready for development or future updates.

I actually was one of Mia's interviewers in Trimble. She ended up working on a product adjacent to mine. Mia is one of the most thoughtful and visually proficient designers I have had the pleasure of working with. She's fearless in getting to the bottom of any challenge and a vigorous advocate for users. Also, she's an amazing, kind human being. I wouldn't hesitate to collaborate with her again, given the opportunity.

Mia has been a strong contributor to design and production projects at Nike APS. These include social media ad packages, large exhibition banners, event tee graphics, and complex apparel graphic production work for many teams in the Olympics, NCAA, High School and in Elite Clubs. We've worked together for many years, first at Nike, and now with APS.
