FAQs
How many project revisions I can have?
When providing you with the project scope, I indicate 'in scope' and 'out of scope' efforts/resources/assets. I usually include a minimum of 2-4hr estimate to work on your feedback. Bigger projects will have a higher estimate of the project feedback time that I break down across the project phases. If you require further revisions or project changes exceeding the scoped efforts, I will definitely work around your needs billing the time as project extension efforts.
Do I need to register any accounts or buy a domain?
I can register all of the service accounts on your behalf and transfer the ownership upon the project launch. This is usually the quickest option so that I'm not blocked with the access. But we can go with any option that you prefer, the difference is the billable time that goes towards coordination. If you already have a registered domain, I will need access to your account to configure the DNS setting when launching the site. If you don't have a domain, I can work with you to have it sorted.
How do I keep track of the project progress?
I use ClickUp as the project and document management software. I invite you to the project where you'll be able to see all of the project tasks, delivery deadlines and scoped efforts per task. I log time that I spend working on the project as I go and you'll be able to see the time logs within your account. We will keep files, notes and documents within the project space as well as feedback communication via the task comments.
How do we keep in touch over the course of the project delivery?
You can reach out to me via email or use the comments area in your project dashboard (I get notified for task comments). For Zoom or Meet video calls we usually communicate around the scheduled delivery milestones such as a project kick-off, draft handover, feedback, launch etc. I do not communicate via phone or messengers. I include project management and communication estimate within the project scope as a variable effort. It means if a small build has 3-4hr allocated within the scope, we can still go over the estimate but this time will be billed as a project extension effort.
What's included
Strategy and Research
We discuss your brand identity and style guide, project goals, how you see success, explore your user personas and their user journey. The scope can include keywords research, market research and a competitive analysis.
Wireframing, Information Architecture Mapping, Sitemap
In this stage of the project I create low-fi or detailed wireframes that focus on functionality and the placement of key elements. I also map the information architecture to organise content into logical and user-friendly groups and develop a sitemap that provides a clear visual roadmap of your site's hierarchy and interconnected pages. This process is fundamental to crafting an intuitive and seamless user experience.
Design and Development in Webflow
In this stage I shift into design and development on Webflow. I secure licensed media or craft custom 3D and 2D media assets that truly reflect your vision. For lean builds I minimise the strategy phase to focus solely on design heuristics while mapping out the wireframe directly in Webflow, ensuring a swift and agile design journey.
Quality Assurance and Website Launch
In this stage I focus on Feedback, Quality Assurance and Launch. I ensure the website works and looks as expected across 4 key screen breakpoints. Since website builds frequently require feedback or changes I use this stage to guarantee the site remains fully responsive and that any adjustments have not impacted its performance. I also manage DNS and email hosting configuration as well as integrate essential systems such as payment gateway, analytics, CRM or support ticketing system to ensure a smooth launch.
