A property-law specialist now runs a multi-tenant contract review SaaS whose entire backend is Make.com: Next.js front end, Supabase data, Stripe billing, and every document pipeline as a scenario. First commit to a product in test took five weeks and 191 commits. That is what "custom development" means here: a real app your team logs into, with automation and your existing APIs doing the work behind the screen.

Off-the-shelf tools stop fitting at a predictable point. The CRM cannot model your deal, the lead manager cannot route the way your team works, the dashboard someone rebuilds every Monday lives in a spreadsheet. The usual answers are a six-figure dev shop or a no-code tool that breaks the moment logic appears. This is the third option.

A working product, not a prototype: dashboards, CRM, lead manager, client portal, internal admin, approval queue, or the tool your ops team has been asking for

The screen layer built to fit the job: Next.js on Vercel with Supabase for a customer-facing product, Retool or a similar internal-tool builder when the users are your own team

The backend as automation: Make.com scenarios for ingestion, processing, AI steps, notifications and scheduled jobs, with error routes, retries and alerting on every one

Connected APIs: your CRM, payment provider, accounting, messaging, data warehouse and any REST API wired in through authenticated connections you own

Auth, roles and tenant isolation where the product serves more than one team, plus billing when it sells

Documentation, a recorded walkthrough and a live handover on accounts you own

A mapping call sets the screens, the data model and the automations, and turns into a fixed number before any work starts. The build ships in slices: a working screen with live data in week one, then each flow behind it. You test on staging, not in a demo.

Founders shipping a product whose heavy lifting is document processing, AI orchestration or integrations. Operations leads whose team runs on five tools and a spreadsheet. Agencies that need a client portal with real data behind it.

If you are not sure whether you need an app or just better automation, the 5-Day Audit at $499 answers that first and is credited against this build. If you know the product you want, the mapping call sets the fixed number.
