First, I will analyse and integrate your existing strategy or documentation into my initial analysis. I will map out your specific intervention using a logic model, and create a narrative theory of change to communicate with stakeholders.

Then, I explore recent literature and research to consider the broader environmental factors (cultural, political, economic, etc.) that may affect your intervention, and any assumptions that should be tested in your intervention. I will map this out on a Theory of Change Canvas.

Then, I will conduct a thorough analysis of the your ToC, the context of change you are operating in, to make recommendations and whether your intervention is in need of a more investigative, explanatory, or communicative ToC:

An investigative ToC is typically quite research-intensive, as we get clear on the change theory underpinning your intervention, drawing upon case studies and research.

An explanatory ToC is very context-specific, so we will draw upon any data or information from your intervention and analyse that in the context of your change theory.

A communicative ToC relies on both the investigative and explanatory work, and how to best communicate this to different stakeholders - through written, visual, or auditory content.
