CapCut Outdoors — Reimagine Waste. Create Space.
For a recent brand transformation concept, I explored a simple question:
What if CapCut existed beyond the screen?
CapCut is known for transforming raw footage into compelling stories. Inspired by that same philosophy of transformation, I reimagined the brand as CapCut Outdoors — a sustainable outdoor furniture company that turns discarded plastic waste into functional community spaces.
The concept envisions a world where creativity extends beyond digital platforms and into the environments where people connect, relax, and interact. Plastic waste becomes raw material. Raw material becomes opportunity. Opportunity becomes beautifully designed public furniture.
The project includes a coordinated product ecosystem featuring:
• Reimagine plastic Bench
• Reimagine plastic Table
• Reimagine plastic Sensor Bin
At its core, the concept explores how branding, sustainability, and design thinking can work together to create meaningful social impact.
The creative direction was inspired by the work of GAIA Waste Innovators in Nairobi, whose real-world efforts demonstrate how discarded materials can be transformed into valuable community assets. Their approach helped shape the thinking behind this project's narrative and visual identity.

MONOFORM: This is a cap (headwear) product design concept. The displayed series of designs shows a well-organized content, flowing from left to right, showcasing different variations of the core design concept. The work is grouped in a way that tells a story of how the final product was achieved. The first panel represents the “Original design” followed by a panel showing different
“style variation”, and the last panel shows “Angle variation”. The
aesthetic is generally cohesive and consistent in the way it applies branding elements like the logo, typography, and color palette. The language used is clear and concise to intentionally explain the purpose of the caps, and equally guide users in choosing from different options.
Who It's for:
The cap is a logo customizable product, making every
person and organization a potential customer. Key target being;
·
i. Potential Customers: To whom it grants the ability to visualize the product options and appreciate the brand's versatility.
·
ii. Investors and Partners: To whom it demonstrates the brand's ability to innovate and adapt to market trends, making it an attractive investment opportunity.
iii. Designers and Marketers: To whom it serves as a visual guide and reference, aiding them in their own creative projects and helping them understand the brand's identity and communication style.
Ultimately, this is a comprehensive visual representation of the product's evolution. It helps build brand recognition and credibility, making it a valuable tool for marketing and sales efforts.
