Meet Toby, my AI-powered Retool app
Toby lets you ask business questions in plain language and quickly turns them into clear, actionable insights. When the AI isn’t confident in its answer, it suggests using “Generate Advanced Analysis.”
With one click, Toby:
🔸 Builds a well-structured SQL query (joins, exclusions, table rules)
🔸 Runs it directly in Retool
🔸 Returns an accurate, data-driven response
The goal is to handle large, complex databases with tons of records and keys, without the user having to navigate that complexity.
Toby is also built with safety in mind: it can’t delete, modify, or create tables under any circumstances (SQL Run Rules).
The app works in English and Spanish, and includes default starter questions so anyone can jump right in.
