Hi all, I’m happy to submit my entry for the Config Makeathon.
Problem:
Users struggle to follow cooking videos efficiently while cooking. They often lose control of pacing, get distracted, or realize the recipe doesn’t match the ingredients they already have at home.
Solution:
I designed a cooking experience where users stay fully in control of the cooking process. Instead of passive video consumption, the app breaks recipes into interactive steps.
Users can:
> Move through steps manually or using voice control
> Filter recipes based on available ingredients at home
> Save favorite recipes for quick access later
> Focus only on what they need while cooking, without distraction
Impact:
This improves cooking efficiency, reduces cognitive overload, and helps users cook faster using what they already have.
