The concept here is An Anatomy of Dependence
We were promised a wireless future.
Instead, we became surrounded by cables.
Chargers, earphones, adapters, and power cords have become such a familiar part of everyday life that they're almost invisible. Yet they continue to power the devices we rely on, quietly connecting us to work, entertainment, communication, and each other.
The more I observed these systems, the more they began to resemble something familiar: veins, nerves, and pathways carrying energy throughout the body.
An Anatomy of Dependence visualizes that relationship by merging human anatomy with the infrastructure of modern technology. Cables spread across skin like a synthetic nervous system, transforming everyday objects into biological extensions of the body.
A study of connection, routine, and the invisible systems we've learned to depend on.
