Walmart Canada currently offers customers coupons (few online, mostly booklets). However, they need to be physically presented at the store during checkout. Not only is this time consuming but inconvenient and inefficient for everyone involved. I was involved in this project of improving the coupon experience through Miami Ad School's UX boot camp.
