I developed two demo Playable Ads projects to showcase potential interactive advertising campaigns for a Grocery store brand and a Sushi bar.
My responsibilities included:
Brainstorming creative concepts that aligned with each brand's identity and marketing goals
Designing engaging, interactive mechanics suitable for short-form playable advertisements
Implementing the ads using Defold game engine for cross-platform compatibility
Creating and adapting visual assets to fit the theme of each brand
Optimizing performance for quick loading and smooth gameplay on mobile devices
Incorporating clear calls-to-action to drive user engagement and conversions
For the grocery store brand:
Developed a 'Shopping Cart Dash' mini-game where users collect specific items against a timer
Designed a reward system tied to the brand's promotional offers
For the sushi bar:
Created a 'Sushi Chef' simulation where users assemble custom rolls to match customer orders
Designed a scoring system based on speed and accuracy, showcasing the bar's menu items
These prototypes demonstrated the potential of playable ads to increase brand engagement and drive customer interest through interactive, gamified experiences.
