In 2019 I moved to Portugal to work for a startup that was in its early stages. Back then, the CEO was very busy looking for funding and investors and the people in the office was feeling a bit lost.
To protect the company, I designed internal policies (expense police, travel police, and many more), always keeping in mind the startup environment but considering the growth of the project and future hiring.
My focus was on not creating tons of legal documents that no one would read, but instead I made it accessible for the employees and partners.
