Simple Animation Project

I edited (and animated) this video about the nature of the universe. I illustrated the characters Goofy, Gaffy, and Sun using Figma. Then, I used After Effects plugins Rhubarb to create the lip-sync and SF Caddy to animate the character expressions. I used basic scripts for the motions and looping animations.

Our team originally produced the backgrounds, scripts, and voiceovers. However, I used a few sound effects and stock footage from Pixabay. Our outro music was also created using Suno AI. I personally dislike AI content, but this was genuinely fun to listen to. There you have it: a hypocrite, self-proclaimed artist.

It took me around 20 hours to produce this (animation to editing). P.S. Excuse all the insider jokes :>

denoised (I did my best, I swear!) the voice recordings

created an editing pipeline where any changes I make to the character designs get pushed to the video in real-time. Basically, I just set up a Figma design system and organized my folders. It's nothing fancy, but it works well!
