📍 Maximizing business values through design
Despite generating $15.15 billion USD in revenue, YouTube users continue to experience cognitive overload leaving users frustrated resulting in lower engagement, application abandonment, and lower viewership.
This case study breaks down our non-linear design process and how we used various testing methods such as A/B and usability tests to learn through trial-and-error to solve a real pain point people experience.
Our solution: Allows users to organize their feed, through the YouTube subscriptions management, to reduce the amount of irrelevant videos they're being bombarded with.
This case study seeks to understand what causes specific consumer frustrations within the YouTube Mobile Application and serve solutions to enhance user experience.
