Fleür: Experimental Typography

Fleür: Experimental Typography This project experiments with asemic writing and finding type-esque systems in unexpected places. After much experimentation with paint, I achieved these incredible tendril-like textures, which I then scanned and digitized into an organic communication system. Inspired by the mycelium network and its vast communication, this experimental font is designed to convey an abstract emotion rather than a concrete message. 

Of course, a nod to Arrival was warranted

During the experimental phase we were encouraged to try out different methods of presentation. This was a particularly interesting production from Stable Diffusion, turning the fronds into Giger-esque decor.
