Short Cinematic Bike Video
Client: VicFixGif (Vico Saverio)
Project: Fixie Bike Build
Role: Creative Direction · Video Production · Video Editing · Color Grading · Sound Design
A cinematic short-form video documenting the process of building a fixie bike, turning a hands-on process into a visually engaging story.
The Challenge
How do you make a bike build feel as engaging as the finished bike itself?
The goal was to transform a technical, hands-on process into high-quality visual content that would resonate with the fixie community.
The Approach
Craftsmanship. Detail. Movement.
Instead of simply documenting the build, I treated the process as a visual story.
Developed the story and shot sequence
Directed the shoot and camera movement
Set up lighting and compositions
Captured details of the components and assembly
Used pacing and transitions to build visual progression
Finished with color grading and sound design
The visual direction focused on close-up details, controlled camera movement, and cinematic pacing to make the process feel immersive.
The Result
The final video turned a bike-building process into a cinematic, community-driven piece of content.
The video generated strong engagement from the fixie community, with viewers actively joining the conversation through comments and shares.
