GoAskPDF.com is an innovative AI-powered tool designed to help students engage with their textbooks like never before. By allowing users to upload entire books, GoAskPDF leverages the power of OpenAI’s ChatGPT to provide interactive, real-time responses based on the content. This enables students to ask questions, clarify concepts, and gain insights directly from their textbooks.
The platform is built with a modern tech stack, utilizing Next.js for its dynamic, server-side rendering capabilities, and React.js to create a seamless, responsive user interface across both mobile and desktop devices. It also integrates TypeScript to ensure type safety and robust development practices. To further enhance the user experience, GoAskPDF employs Pinecone and OpenAI embeddings to search and retrieve specific book content, making interactions highly context-aware and efficient.
Currently, we are working on integrating Stripe for secure, hassle-free payments, allowing students to easily upgrade to the premium version and unlock additional features. This premium model is designed to give students more powerful tools to enhance their study sessions and academic success.
