Naloxone Access at Community Pharmacies - Journal Publication

Project Overview

I was the first author of a study that aimed to evaluate access to, and barriers to accessing, naloxone at community pharmacies throughout Massachusetts following implementation of a statewide standing order. I am highly passionate about this field, especially regarding new research surrounding opioid use disorder and the opioid epidemic.

This was a cross-sectional telephone-based survey of over 500 community pharmacies in Massachusetts to assess barriers to obtaining naloxone and overall naloxone availability. I was in a team of three where we developed the research question and designed the study protocol.
