New Legacy Collective is a nonprofit, resource hub, and community for people working to repair America's deepest harms. Planthouse Studio designed the site and hired me to build it in Squarespace as closely as possible, using custom code where needed.

Custom code where native Squarespace fell short of the design

The design leans on soft gradient fields, layered and offset imagery, oversized serif type and rounded card grids. I rebuilt these in Squarespace's Fluid Engine and used custom CSS to hold the overlaps, radii and type scale steady across screen sizes, so the build reads like the Figma file on desktop and mobile.

The work ran over December 2025 and was delivered ahead of the December 31 hard deadline for an early New Year launch.

The site is live and in the client's hands. Planthouse came straight back with the Mt Baker Foundation build in January.
