Hot White Heist is the first and only scripted podcast about a sperm bank heist. Starring SNL's Bowen Yang and an all-star, all-queer cast, this action comedy takes a crew of misfit characters from across the LGBTQ+ spectrum on a top-secret mission.

When approaching the creative strategy for this title, I wanted to position it as the cool cult queer comedy of the summer, while leveraging Bowen Yang and the rest of cast's large following. It's a perfect niche! A queer action comedy for people who like queer action comedies.  Not only that, but the story and its content have some Heist movie or Bond-esque styling, which can play into some creative elements of the campaign. ​Check out the strategy deck here, or skip straight to the scripts below.

​The first and only scripted podcast about a sperm bank heist, starring SNL's Bowen Yang and an all-star, all-queer cast, this action comedy takes a crew of misfit characters from across the LGBTQ+ spectrum on a top-secret mission. It will be released during pride month and is complete with all the near misses, switcheroos, and secret hand-offs of Oceans 11, but funnier, gayer, and with more Tony Kushner.

his concept features simple setups with cast members as themselves, either talking to the camera or having light quippy conversations with fellow cast members. These are quick, SNL promo style, joke-based scripts that have room for riffing on set.

Hot White Heist has its own Bond-style theme song, so let’s make an accompanying video, in the style of Bond opening credits. In Bond fashion, there will be slow moving dancing figures and ethereal backgrounds, but this version will be more queer friendly, more colorful, and will of course feature swimming sperm.

For this concept we'll create a dynamic character animation around cast images using a freeze frame effect, similar to the common style of character intro graphics in action movies like Snatch.
