Built Backend APIs, Stripe Integration for JAMWRK

Built and stabilized the JAMWRK music learning and community platform from end to end, covering the application architecture, frontend experience, backend services, database workflows, authentication, payments, subscriptions, teacher payouts, and production infrastructure.

I developed the full-stack application using TypeScript, React, Node.js, Firebase, PostgreSQL, Stripe, and Stripe Connect, turning the existing product requirements into a functional, production-ready platform. I worked across both the user-facing application and backend systems, building the core workflows needed for students, teachers, lessons, subscriptions, payments, and community features.

A major focus was designing and implementing the Stripe payment ecosystem, including Premium subscriptions, Stripe Connect teacher accounts, teacher payouts, JAMWRK platform commissions, payment webhooks, idempotency, and payment-event handling. I also implemented and stabilized the COPPA / Guardian verification workflow for younger users and connected it with authentication and payment authorization.

On the authentication side, I implemented Firebase Authentication, email verification, password recovery, account workflows, and transactional email configuration. I also handled the integration between frontend, backend APIs, Firebase, Stripe, and the database to ensure data and user states remained consistent across the platform.

Because the project contained a significant amount of AI-generated Replit code, I also performed extensive human engineering review, debugging, refactoring, and architectural cleanup. I traced complex application logic, fixed integration problems, improved error handling, tested real payment flows, and stabilized the system through repeated QA and production-oriented testing.

The result was a fully functional and production-ready JAMWRK application, with a reliable foundation for continued mobile development, user onboarding, payments, subscriptions, teacher monetization, and future platform growth.
